How to fix the problem: turn off your console hard (hold down the button on the console itself). when you turn it back on you have to make sure that the internet is set up properly.. I can't help resurrect your save unless you've got a backup of it on ps+, which you can just redownload, but to remove the corrupted data, just boot into safe mode and run "rebuild database" :) you can learn more about your ps4's safe mode and how to access it here .. I was putting my ps4 in to rest mode, and i guess the game was still saving (although the icon was gone) because the ps4 locked up and wouldn't ever go in to rest mode. my only choice was the cut the power and when i got back to the game, it said my save was corrupted and needed to be deleted..
Seems like both of my crashes corrupted save files at least 2-3 hours back. the most recent crash happened while traveling to skellige for the first time and crashed for a second time during the same cutscene..
