Question: q: ipad 2 won’t update to ios 9.3.5 i have an ipad 2 on ios 8.0.2 and i know it can’t go to ios 10 or 11, but i’m trying to update it to ios 9.3.5. the update will download, but when i try to install it.. Apple has pulled the ios 9.3 update for some devices (ipad airs and before, iphone 5s and before) due to problems with activation. you will not be able to update until a fix is issued.. When attempting to download onto the older ipad mini with ios 9.3.5 ? also - if you don't have the kindle reading app on the older ipad 9.3.5 - but do already have it on another ios device, does that work and you can again get the "older" version message and download the "older" version on the ipad ?.
